is there something in the steering colom that would make the control buttons freak out? when i turn the wheel the volume turnes down,the cd changes songs.the cruis control no longer works,the light on the dash flashes on and off.the lights on the radio flash from bright to dim.this only happens when the steeringwheel gets turned.its an 06 honda accord.

 

Kind of sounds like the "clock spring" is acting up? Any work done on or around the steering wheel.

 

no work ever done on car cruise controle started acting up over a year ago had to push set button over and over to get it to work then it completely stopped working 6 months after that all buttons started to flip out
