Will do, and I really appreciate you help Hicksvilleshick. I'm wonder if the heater core doesn't have some inherent leaks that by running the heat a bit it distributed the gunk to plug it up. If I don't find the cause this weekend eventually I'll flush it this spring and see what I have, but with the recent stroke of luck I'll probably save the 1k over the winter just in case it's the heater core. If nothing else I have plenty of upgrades and replacements to use it on in the spring.

For now, I'm going to drop the 260 + 200 core on a rebuilt steering rack since it's leaking badly and the inner tie rods are shot. I'll post pics and vids of that in the DIY section when I have vacation time early Nov.

I guess I'll figure it out in due time, and I'll post any updates on this as they come along. I've already learned a lot in this forum and figure anything I can post on this will just add to a very good thing.
