Found a clean used 87k auto tranny for my '95 Accord. I don't have the time or the place to swap out the tranny. Approximately what should I pay a shop to do the swap for me?

I got a quote from one guy close by of $480.00 with Honda Transmission fluid. Does that sound about right for the NYC Area for the that job.

I would call around and get some other quotes, so you can compare your local rates to replace the transmission.

 

I need an auto trans as well. I have aprox 110 on the odo, and full fluid and routine maintainance. The problem with mine is that it is slipping and wont drive more than 5mph. I have seen trans computers on ebay for sale. Is this what i should be buying or how do I diagnose the issue? any help would be so appreciated.
