Default Cruise Control Problem

I recently had my transmission fluid and timing belt changed as my 96K maintenance came up.
Driving home from the dealer I decided to use the cruise control, but it wouldnt work. It had previously worked the day before.

PROBLEM: I can press the CRUISE button and the light turns ON in the console and if I press the SET button that also turns on in the console, but when I release the gas pedal the car slows down and it appears that the cruise is not engaged.

My question is whether anyone knows if I should check anything before going to the dealership or whether it could be something they did when doing my maintenance. Thanks.

EDIT: I drive a 2003 4-cylinder.

Maybe they left the vacuum line or wiring off the cruise control actuator?

You should head back to the dealer and ask them to plug the cruise unit into the harness. [sm=exactly.gif]
