Unhappy cv joints/half-shafts keep failing

About 8 months ago my girlfriends 97 accord needed new half shafts. So i replaced them and all the noise/clunking disappeared and everything was fine...until now. Now when making low speed turns and starting from a stop i hear the clunking noise again.

Is there anything that could be causing them to keep going out?? I know she needs new ball joints up front, but i didnt think that they could be causing the half-shafts to fail?? Please any ideas help or advice would be amazing.

Check and see if the boots are torn. Did the boots fail on the old ones?
