D4 light on, no start
Yes, remove the radiator cap, then start the car. Hopefully you'll see air bubbles as the coolant is circulated. There are some good videos on bleeding air from the accord cooling system on youtube. Ericthecarguy had some useful ones on his channel I saw a long time ago.
That did it! It's idling normally now. It sounds a little weird so I'll check that out. But it's 100 times better. I have to figure out why it's making a loud squeaking noise when I step on the brakes when stopping. I put on new brake pads and rotors that have never been driven on. Hopefully it's nothing
You had a lot of stuff going on with that car, so I'm glad you worked through all of them. Southmainauto on youtube has some pretty good brake pad videos for hondas that migh help you out if you can't figure it out.
It's running a little rough but there aren't any codes coming up. Can a faulty alternator cause the transmission to act up? When I put it in gear the N, R, and D4 lights wont come on unless I move the shift lever so it's between gears. So for example if I put it in D4 the light won't come on unless I move the shifter and hold it between D4 and N. That's what I have to do for N and R. But, D3, 1&2 come on like normal. Any suggestions guys?
