They still have it. It's been almost two weeks. I'm going to call them this morning and tell them about the bolts. Hopefully that's it. Fingers crossed.

I got the car back finally. It cranks but won't start. The fuel pump is bad so I went to pick a part and took one from another accord. It doesn't fit. It seems like it's too long. My car is made in Japan, the car I took it from was made in the US. Is there a difference in the pumps depending on where it's made?

Are you swapping the entire assembly with the housing and fuel level float, or just the pump?

If you go to a site like hondapartsnow.com, it looks like there is a different fuel pump assembly for US built vs Japan built. You should be able to pull the fuel pump from the junkyard assembly and install it on your original japan built assembly. Just check the electrical connections are identical between them.

I have to use the whole assembly from whatever car I pull it from. The original one was corroded and the strainer was disintegrated

It looks like the fuel tank has a different part number for the USA/Mexico built vs the built in Japan, so there is a difference (don't know what the difference is). The fuel pump you found might not work, but you can try installing the junkyard assembly to see if it fits.

You might have to return to the junkyard a pull a fuel pump from a VIN that starts with JHM, as I'm guessing your VIN starts with JHM and not 1HG (USA built) or 3HG (Mexico built).

So I went to the pick a part this morning and pulled a fuel pump from a Japanese made car. I came home and tried to put it in but it still won't fit. Ok these are the tags on top of the fuel pumps. The one ending in 03 is the one from my car. The other ending in 04 is from the junk yard car. What ever heck?
