Default Day time runing lights;Low beams/ highbeams

My high beams work well only one thats the right one when sitting inside the car. the left one doesnt seem to turn on. i changed both bulbs. when i release my hand break they dont turn on either. although when my lights are completly off and i hit the stick at the side of the wheel myright one or somtimes both come on. Does anybody have a clue on how to fix this and how much it might cost i do realize its electrical so im assumming it might be pricey... thanks for your help

sounds like you might have a bad combo switch but not certain until a bit more testing.... is the wiring/ground at the left headlight good?
