Default Door Handle Coming Loose

OK so the drivers door handle is coming loose. It still works fine, but some sort of clip or bolt has come off of one side of it and I can't stand it anymore. Pretty soon it will break the other side. Do I have to remove the entire interior section of the door ti fix this or is there another way? A pic is below so you can see what I'm looking at. Thanks!

Yes you have to remove the door panel on the inside... it's actually fairly easy to do.... what year/model is it?

search the forum for door panel removal, it's pretty simple actually, there is a screw in the upper right corner, one inside the armrest handle (where you pull the door closed) and one going through the top right hand part of the armrest into the door, then one last screw behind the door handle, all of these are covered with little annoying plastic covers, remove them, remove the screws, pop off the door handle assembly (inside the door) pop off the mirror cover in the upper right hand corner, then start at the front, slide your fingers in underneath the panel and work your way around to pop off the clips that hold it on and then it should lift up/off!

OK, I did a search and I wonder if you can help this old newbie out a bit. Do you happen to know of a link or site that shows pictures of this process? Not ever having done this before, I'm a bit hesitant to just start unscrewing things. Thanks!

thats very helpful thank you! One more question and I think I'm good to tackle this. What type of screw are these? Philips or the star type?

Phillips, fairly straightforward job, just be sure you get that door handle section out or it will snag
