driver side window motor/regulator replacement
I am considering attempting to replace the regulator/and or motor on the drivers side window of my 93 accord myself. doesn't look too difficult in my manual, but thought I would take any advice first as I don't want to make things worse or mess up any wiring as the window/ mirror control panel is on the armrest. It seems that I am supposed to just pry it out, but it seems like ai will really have to force it.
The problem with the window is that it goes down (opens) about 1-2 inches and then makes a horrible noise likes the window is stuck but the motor keeps or working.
I appreciate any advice.

RE: driver side window motor/regulator replacement
pretty easy but a bit tedious.carefull on the plugs etc...to take doorpanel off.
I found some tools that made it a lot easier....
thin-long screwdriver, a putty knife (metal) with a "V" notched in middle of blade made with grinderand sanded...forgetting all plugs out easy without tearing material or ruining orig. plugs ....
some zip-ties are helpful and might as well grease the gears while in there, also some liquid silicon spray on inside of rubber lips good too while in there.
otherwise, get a teaspoon and have at it!

RE: driver side window motor/regulator replacement
This is another option... those wires should give you a little room
use a flatip screwdriver wrapped in a thin towel to protect the trim OR most
of the time you can remove the door panel and then reach up and disconnect
the wires from that control switch, so remove the panel lift it up/off a
little bit and the wires will still be holding it, reach in behind and
disconnect the wires
