I'm very confused about the electronic control unit (ecu) I have a '95 Honda Accord LX it has f22b2 manual transmission I would like to install a f23a I would like to use all the parts that's on the engine (like the intake manifold & injectors) so this is where the confusion comes in. I know I am obd-1 and the motor is obd-2 and it may or may not come with the wires.
So, this is my dilema how do I marry the two together (so they'll live happily ever after) I have no problem with re-wiring it I just don't know what to do.
the old motor didn't have v-tec the new does. I read in the forums that others have re-wired it, but where do I find the diagrams. And is this all I have to worry about is v-tec. I'm sure there are other sensors

If you were to wire your car to become OBD-2 that's a huge ton of work.

If you were to rewire the F23a to make it OBD-1, then you use all the sensors from your old engine. Problem is, the F22 distributor might not fit mechanically onto the F23 engine.

And your ECU won't drive the VTEC, so you would want to find an ECU from a 95 Accord EX (VTEC).
