Just take your car to autozone and have them read the code. They plug in a scanner in the connector under the steering wheel and will give you the 5-digit code (P####).

Or you can invest in a OBDll scanner of your own.. there only around $59 bucks at Advance auto.

thankyou. There is usually a little screw potentiometer on the side of the ecu. You turn it all the way to the left and it goes into diagnostics mode and the light flashes either on the ecu or your check engine light flashes. Long flashes are for 1st digit and fast flashes are for 2nd digit.

No such thing on your ECU, I gurantee it. There are no mechanical parts involved in it at all. All it is is a circuit board with a ton of processors and some memory.

O, I just thought it would be the same because on my 300 it was also under the passenger footwell and I checked codes that way.
