Default Electrical Problems - 91 Accord

Brand new member...thanks everyone for doing what you do!

I just picked up a 91 Accord with the 4cyl, 5spd to save on fuel costs...and inherited a few electrical problems. I'd like to start with the most important (given it's summer in Central Oregon)...power windows!

1) Power Windows: I've checked the fuses under the dash, as well as the 4 fuses under the hood...all good. I pulled the door panel and everything is connected there. The power mirror unit which is connected to the power window control unit is working just fine.

I'm not sure if the relay can be checked, or if you have to just drop some cash on a new one? Any other quick checks before the relay purchase?

2) Instrument Cluster: I replaced the speed sensor in hopes of fixing the speedometer (no luck) and it seems I lost my tach and temp guage in the process (not sure if fuel guage is working or not). I read in a previous thread to check the ground behind the drivers side headlight, so i'll look for that for sure! Anybody have suggestions on where to go if it's not the ground?

Thanks in advance,

Let's take one at a time.

In the underhood fuse panel, you can switch the rad fan relay and the power window relay....to rule that out.

Do you have a manual, even if you don't look in the common DIY threads at the top for a link to download one.

o.k.

I switched the radiator fan relay and the window fan relay and still nothing working at the power window controls.

I noticed that the power door locks are not working either and am not sure if these two are connected somewhere up the line or not.

What would be a next step?

Test the inputs and outputs of the master switch, but first make sure the "master" is on?....the little rocker part of the switch, please don't take that wrong, I've seen that before.

If you downloaded the manual we are on/at 16-238 for the switch test. 236 has the inputs
