Default Electrical Short solved 10 cents

Just got a 03 Accord EX VTEC Garage find with less than 60 K!

Experiencing a new electrical short ;(

Just got done putting in a new a AUX cord adapter which worked fine and decent sound and phone interconnections. Also fixed the dead radio with jumping that small fuse On the radio circuitboard. Found the procedure YouTube and worked great! Invested in a $20 soldering kit, but got radio back running....
BUT now had a short show up in the accessory circuit. Thinking may be a pinched a wire or crossed up something. Have a smile my face while I’m putting back the front consul, as discovered the problem was super simple: A dime worked its way down into the cigarette lighter plug and cause a direct short.
Look for the simple things first!
Happy Hondaing!

I love the simple fixes.

It didn't COST 10 cents to fix, that 10 cents was all PROFIT (or at least recovered funds)!
