Engine code reader?
The 92 Accord is OBD-I while the 00 Accord is OBD-II. You can read the code for the 92 by jumping the service check connector with a paper clip or wire. Although the 00 had an OBD-II port, I believe it still had a similar service check connector which can be jumped. So, a code reader for both can costs pennies.
I'll double-check whether the 00 Accord still had the service check connector. It was the 96-97 Accord that had the OBD-II port and separate service check connector.
Edit: This thread said no separate service check connector for the 00 Accord; but, the OBD-II port can still be jumped.
