Default Engine Problems, Please Help!!!

i have a 2003 Acoord V6 6-speed manual and when i pulled into the store my car almost died on me. i cut it off and cranked it back up and now its bearly running, idling at only about 300-400rpm, it seems like its skipping and you can tell it wants to die, if you hit the throttle it does idle up and will smooth out but the engine makes a very loud ticking noise, but the check engine light is not on. does anyone know what this could be? could it have jumped time? the car just hit 95,000 miles. i just really need help, this is my daily driver

I removed your email address from your post, because that can attract spammers to you and to this site. Just enable people to email you through this site and/or enable email notifications to this thread.

Check your owner's manual to see what mileage the spark plugs need changed. Also check the interval for the timing belt.

It sounds like the timing belt may have jumped a tooth. You would want to align the crankshaft to TDC then check that the cams are at aligned at TDC. Until you verify the timing belt is ok, I would avoid driving your car.

It probably wouldn't hurt to check for any stored codes too.

Okay, thank you. I will check that, could the plugs cause the loud ticking?

Well I checked the plugs and coils.... I did refuel about 10 -15 miles before this happen.... could bad gas cause this and the loud ticking?
