No, it is not normal..
you might want to hook up a fuel pressure gauge and chk pressure when start up, I have seen a few cars with a bad pressure relief valve in the fuel pump. tune up also as suggested is a good idea, take a look at those plugs, if needed NGK ZFR5F-11
