Recently I was listening to a CDr on my stock piece of junk CD player. I have a 2000 Accord V6. The CD kept spinning and spinning, which is normal, and eventually the songs would play. Well, a couple of days ago I was trying to listen to the same CD and the CD player showed ERRR and spit the CD out. Now, my CD player doesn't work. Big Suprise! What concerns me is not the CD player but the smell that started to come out of my vents when the AC was on. I assume that some sort of wiring shorted out and the smell was a result of that burn. I was curious if anyone has had this problem or if anyone has any recommendations to remedy the funk that is my car.

 

I was driving on a highway and i had a flat one day...... but now what concerns me the most is that the rear window switch will not work



.... the point is - theres no relation to the problem.

how often do you use Air Conditioning. Also - have you tried it with both option - inside cabin air circulation and from outside.

is the smell the same?
