f20b misfire but dont know why please help!!!!!

Car has no egr and deleted from ecu.

The hissing sound could be from a vacuum leak. It could explain your problems.

Ask the shop that suggested a tune up what specific items they want to do to tune up the car.

We checked compression on the engine and it was good and they did a test where they put air in the engine to see if there was a leak and nothing.

PA- help me here as you've prob see/heard more of these videos than I have.

To me there was a ton of valve noise, did they get the lash correct when the head was repaired?

Poorman, I heard the valve noise as well. The problem with these videos is that it is hard to tell if the noise is too loud.

I think that it is a good idea to get the valves adjusted to spec. I would guess there has to be some point where a grossly misadjusted valve could cause a problem.

I'm guessing the pumping air into the engine was a leakdown test. That does not rule out a vacuum leak. I fixed the first link in my previous post for the how to find a vacuum leak video.
