f22b2 accord with irratic warm up problem?
I got a 96 accord f22b2, 200k, auto. The car drives like new after warmed up. Even killed a 00 civic. Still strong lots of power. The only problem is when its been sitting and its cold it bogs and shakes and engine surges like crazy. The rpms go crazy. This only happens when its cold. It does this for about 1-2 mins. After this it drives like a dream. If i were to back out of my driveway and drive it without letting it warm up. As soon as i would try n accelerate it would bog and back fire. I would not even be able to go, I'd have to pull over and let it worm up. Ive had this done. Air filter, fuel filter, new pcv, new head gasket, new spark plugs, wires, cap ,rotor, new injectors. Cleaned cylinder head, intake, fuel rail, throttle body, egr, egr ports. New IAC on its way. One time i cleaned the injectors it went away for a long time then just came back. Just wanted to see if someone had an accord with this problem. Any input at all would help. Here's a link of what it sounds like. Its the car cold i just turned it on. Its surging going crazy bogging misfiring whatever you want to call it. Then it revs high and that's it, its ready to be driven perfect http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdTzGcA6p-E n just some pics car http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/c...ra5517/5-4.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/c.../IMAGE_027.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/c...a5517/12-2.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/c.../IMAGE_030.jpg

this might be your solution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey I hope this information helps, my 97 honda accord se has the same symptoms and I got tired of spending money here and there trying to fix it myself. Well I took it to the shop and they ran some diagnostics and hooked up their electronics and said that the thing that acted up when they felt the symptoms was the ECT which is the engine coolant temperature sensor. They are replacing it tomorrow for 75 bucks out the door. parts and labor I will keep you updated if this fixes my issue.
