Default fan question

I need to replace the radiator cooling fan, is it better to replace the entire shroud, assembly, etc.. or just the motor?

Default RE: fan question

as long as the shroud assembly and everything is intact and in good working order then I'd just replace the motor.

Plenty of choices on ebay for aftermarket fan motors or assys. I have not found any of the aftermarket motors preferable. All are probably made in China or Tiawan.

good luck
