Usually a "fast blink" is because of a bad bulb. I'd start with replacing the "weak" one you speak of. Next compare and verify the same bulbs from side to side (right/pass to left/drivers) are working.

Turn on the left side blinker and walk around the car, a little darkness helps, and see/note all of the bulbs/lights that are blinking. Then turn on the right side and verify the "matching" bulbs on that side are also blinking.

hi poorman, thanks for responding. in my garage all front and rear turn signals work fine except for the front passenger. it blinks fast and the light is weak. the rear passenger turn signal seems to have correct light but is also fast blinking. the hazards are fine except for weak front passenger side light. if i change out the front passenger bulb and there's no change, any idea what i should do next?

I'd look at the ground wire connection to the body. Do you have any other burned out bulbs? Something like the TS bulbs in the dash? I'm only asking, as most systems are "balanced", and when a bulb is out, it causes an imbalance which makes the flasher unit work faster on the burned out side. This is what poorman was getting at when he asked you to check the wattage of your bulbs (that can cause an imbalance as well).

thanks toecutter. none of the bulbs are burned out. the right front is just a weak light. i will get 1157A and try that. i hope that solves the problem. i appreciate all the help!
