I didn't think there was any problem cranking the car with the starter. Make sure you have good grounds but your video doesn't indicate any problem with the starter or related circuitry.

Those connectors can be a PITA. Take your time, use a mirror if necessary, and locate the tab to release it. The tab will have ridges on it. Press on it, wiggle, and pull it back. It will come off. It's definitely easier to get to with the distributor removed but it isn't required.

ok, finally got that thing out. I am pretty sure that is not the problem now, but i will let you guys decide.

at the "20k" setting on the multimeter, i got:

Ice water: 4.2~4.3
Room temp: 2.12
Water almost boiled: 0.4~0.3

Does that tell you anything? it looks about right according to that graph you posted.

oh, and here is that wire i was talking about. It looks a little green to me but i guess if it cranks its ok. The starter sounds a little "slow" to me compared to some other cars but i guess you guys did not think so.

That (ground?) wire looks a bit sketchy to me; I'd replace it for sure.

yeah, i think it needs replacement, i will see if it cranks faster when i replace it tomorrow. But i guess the problem is not the temp sensor, right?

Resistance measurements are close enough to spec to rule out ECT as source of problem, IMO.

good luck

Agree, ECT specs spot on. Time for some new plugs per PAHonda's recommendation. You said the HG & TB were replaced, but without yet having taken them out to look at they may well be the original plugs.

The NGK plugs he recommended were in place at the time of the video. (what is HG and TB? you got me there)

HG = head gasket
TB = throttle body
edit: TB = might mean timing belt like Roader says. Sorry about that.

Left field, maybe, but a bad HG caused my F22B2 to miss on a couple of cylinders for a few seconds when cold. Coolant got into the cylinders and caused those cylinders to misfire until it cleared. To check, crank the cold engine for a few seconds without allowing it to start and pull the plugs; if they're wet with coolant then there's a problem.

But it's unlikely that it would cause none of the cylinders to fire, per your video. Valves adjusted? CR-Vs were infamous for too-tight exhaust valve clearances causing poor cold starting (and eventual head replacement.) Haven't heard about that issue for Accords though.
