Hi,
i gave my car to mechanic to resurface front brake discs and put new pads on.
he called me and said that theres no way to do it. that disc is behind the bearing and it cant be removed without damaging the bearing and also it cant be resurfaced. so i need new discs + new bearings. im confused, there was no such thing on my prelude..
any comments on that?

PS. english is not my main language..

 

Take it to a different mechanic - he doesnt know what he's doing. You have to pull the hub off on 5thgen accords to do the brakes.
