Front Disc Rotors 2000 Accord LX
The rotors I believe are causing a pulsing in the brake pedal, it's especially noticeable when braking hard, coming off an interstate to an off ramp, etc. My question is, should I just put OEM Honda rotors on it ( car has 95k on it ) or go with another aftermarket rotor like Brembo? The car has drums on the rear.Inot looking for racing brakes, I'm just tired of the foot massage every timeI want to slow down.
Thanks
Thanks
Use the handbrake to check whether the pulsation is actually coming from the front. (It usually IS the front)
I've used Brembo rotors - haven't had problems with them.

are rotors too thin to be resurfaced ?? if so using Brembo is a good idea a lot cheaper than factory .. but do as JIm suggested to properly locate if it is frt rotors or rear drums,,
drive the car at about 35-45 mph,, pull the e-brake lever up if you feel a shaking the drums are out of round ,, if not and you feel a shaking when just applying the brake pedal the frt rotors are warped ,,
assuming there is not any very loose frt suspension components ...

Today applied handbrake in the range of 35-45mph and did notice the shudder slightly but it was very pronounced when I applied it on a long hill descent while going about 50 mph. The drum brake shoes are the original.
