Front end clunk
2002 honda accord V6. Recently changed left hand upper ball joint/arm assembly. Now i'm hearing a faint clunk when i drive over rough roads and bumps etc. Sounds like it's coming from the right hand side now. Had a retired mechanic look at it and really did'nt detect much. Said it may be swaybar linkage, which is cheap to replace. Any idea's on common Honda issue's before i start throwing money around?????
Recently saw a post where the strut mount bearing at top of strut was damaged and causing a clunk. Try bouncing up/down on the fender as vigorously as possible to see if you can cause the noise and hopefully trace.
Sway bar bushings where they attach to lower arm are notorious for causing clunks in turns.
good luck
