Default Replaced CV Axle - Have 'clunk'

I just replaced both my CV axles on my 95 Honda Accord, EX, ABS, Auto. When I am stopped and shift from 'drive' to 'reverse' and back, I hear a clunk coming from the driver's side axle. The noise is louder when I am stopped, shift into 'drive', accelerate slightly with foot on brake and back in reverse. I called the store to verify I had the right part. I double checked all bolts.

Two days ago, I completed the work and had no noise that night. The next day my neighbor had vehicle tires aligned. Today, I have the clunk noise. Any suggestions?

Default RE: Replaced CV Axle - Have 'clunk'

I found the sourceof the noise and it was the 'new' upper control arm. The control arm hastwo mounts that slide up under the quarter panel and into the engine compartment, where they are bolted. Thesemountsalsoconnect to rubber bushings . The mount was sliding back and forth on the bushing and making contact with the metal arms. The 'new' control arm had no instructions. Does anyone know the torque specificationsfor the bolts that are attached to the rubber bushing?
