96 Accord 2.2L 4cyl

I did a brake job a couple weeks ago rotors/bearings/brakes I pulled the knuckle off and ball joints to remove it. The car now makes a sound like a old squeaky mattress, it makes the sound if you put your knee on the hood and push down. I thought the noise was coming from the lower ball joint so I loosened it popped the knuckle loose and then put it back together again. The noise went away for a couple days then came back.

The joint looked fine when I had it apart. I'm wondering if the onset of cold whether just didn't point out something that needs replacing. It has the original shocks/struts on it I'm wondering if this may in fact be whats making the noise and not the lower ball joint. Ive crawled underneath with the car on ramps and had someone put weight on the hood but I cant tell where its coming from.

 

Spray the rubber parts under your car one at a time till you discover where it's coming from..
