Default Fuel/Brake line cover

Hello my name is Mike. I have a 2000 Accord EX which has a brake line leak. The leak is under the car. There is a cover over the fuel and brake lines. Can someone tell me how to get that cover off? I tried to unscrew the 17 mm plastic nuts but they don't come all the way out. Please let me know the trick for them clips. Thanks.

I went with OEM line from Honda. Are you looking to just splice in a piece of rubber hose? After I got the cover off I noticed mine was rusted in a few places so changed entire line.

Mine is beyond comprehension, i have jacked it up and taken a look at where the leak is coming from and it's the tiniest of holes....however i pushed on one of the lines (closest to the door frame) and it was just mush, i assume it's the vent line or my car wouldn't be running, so that line needs to be replaced and probably all the others....i can't believe how much this is going to cost...this f'ing plastic cover held all the road salt and rusted everything, though i spent a fortune on car washes etc......

Not sure, but I think the vent line is in the middle. Anyway changing the lines is expensive. I feel the same way about that cover. I did not put another cover on. The cover might appear to be a good idea, but I think it does more damage than good.
