fuel door problems

hey i have a 2003 accord lx and the trunk/fuel door latch won"t pop the fuel door but it will pop the trunk anyone have any suggestions

the cable might be broken or unattached

Let us know what you find. How do you get it open to get fuel?

Mine barely opened with the lever, I opened it with a piece of plastic then bent the black "L" shaped spring clip (near the hinge) back with my hand to push it open farther.
opens about 1" now, not a problem anymore

Go into the trunk, peel back the liner on that side; you will see where the cable enters the gas door area
