Fuel Filter

Default Fuel Filter

I have an 02 ex-v6 and I can't find my fuel filter. Anyboy think they an enlighten me?

I'd wait for a second opinion on this one but I'm fairly certain the 02 doesn't have a fuel filter, just a strainer INSIDE the fuel pump.

Why do you ask?

Yea, I read that in a couple of other threads, but the honda dealership sold me a filter for it. If there's not one then I'm gonna be pissed. The only reason I asked is because I'm about the replace it as part of some preventative maintainence.

I'd like to add also that I noticed all the threads saying there wasn't a filter were talking about the four cylinder model, not the j30a1

there is a strainer and a filter, but you have to pull the fuel pump to do it. and it doesn't require replacement unless fuel pressure drops. good luck!

if your doing preventitive maintanence do the real preventitive and replace the pump as well.

Please note the sarcasam in the last sentance... If your fuel pressure is fine you don't need to replace the filter unless you really enjoy pulling fuel pumps....

What kind of mileage? How's the timing belt look?
