Got an oil leaking problem
Ok so i bought some new plugs about a month ago and finally got around to putting them in and on 3 of my plugs wires and plugs are covered in oil, the car runs fine no smoke or anything, still has plenty of oil. I didnt notice a little oil around the valve cover. Could a valve cover gasket cause the oil to go up onto the plugs and wires?? Thanks

RE: Got an oil leaking problem
Sure. They're called 'spark plug tube seals' so that would be a good search term in the DIY section. There's some good stuff over there about this topic.
Those tube seals are usually included with a valve cover gasket 'set'. But sometimes not, so make sure you get 'em.
Some years/versions there's also another set of seals further down in the spark plug tubes. If you're lucky your upper ones are leaking. The lower ones require you take apart the valvetrain & remove the camshaft bearing caps.
