its a questing i wanted too know beacause my friends are saying i could swap the stock engine that comes in my honda accord lx 1999 4dr with a h23aDOHC, VTEC, 16-VALVE engine ? i want to know if its possible?

Yes it's possible, & it's a fairly common swap. It'll bolt right up.

Problems & hassles include...
- emmissions certification especially if you're in California
- gotta use the ECU from the donor car where the H-engine came from
- might want to swap trans because the H-engine wants shorter gearing
- maybe 1 or 2 engine mounts are different (think that stuff is available commercially)
- fitup of other junk like PS pump, exhaust, etc...

ight thanks i was hoping it was possible i dont know too much about cars since i just got one a couple months ago but your awnser helped thank you
