when you bought the car was there any warranty, either written or implied? if so..id get it flushed..flushing can either make it better, or destroy it...

i work at the dealership, so no, there wasnt any warranty, but i got the car for 2800 bucks

i havent ever heard of a flush destroying the tranny? i cant think what would possibly cause that, unless you flush with non honda fluid....

IF THE FLUID IN THE TRANS WAS NEVER REPLACED--THERE IS A GOOD POSSIBILITY THAT IF YOU CHANGE THE FLUID OR FLUSH--IT COULD CAUSE DAMAGE--THE GEARS AND WHAT NOT HAVE BECOME ACCUSTOMED TO THE BUILD UP IN TRANS AND CLEANING IT CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS--OF COURSE I'M ASSUMING THIS IS A HIGH MILEAGE VEHICLE

I drive a 95 ex coupe, and have had the same rough shifting on my auto tranny also.

but i just recently repalced the tranny fluid and the shifting is MUCH smoother.
