twice now in the first 300 miles i've put on this car (bought with 3 miles on the odometer), the second time being just tonight,i've had an incident where i turn the key and it cranks but doesn't start. then i try again and it starts with just a little hesitation. anyone experience this on the LX-P or other trim level, and if so, what if any was the diagnosis and/or fix? much thanks for any info.

 

Does this problem happen after a short drive?
Turn on the key ,wait5 seconds, open the throttle 1/2 way, then crank the engine.

no, actually this happened tonight (and the previous time, i think) when the car had been sitting most of the day. i'd started it a couple times this morning to move it in the driveway, but that's it. i'd say it had been sitting for about 8 hours when this happened tonight.

i do recall reading something to that effect when flipping throught the o/m, but was nevertheless concerned a bit since i don't recall this occurring in 2 years of driving my '07.

anyone else with input, or should i just not worry about this for the timebeing. thanks.

i would talk to the honda dealer about your issue ..car is under warranty
