Heater not getting hot 1997 honda accord
I have a 4 cylinder 4 door accord dx value package. Does anyone have a good picture or a good description of how to access the thermostat. My heat does not get very hot (it gets a little warm) but not warm enough to counter 15 degree weather so I am pretty certain I need to replace or fix my thermostat, but I cant figure out how to access it. Is it accessible from the top of the car or do I need to go under neath. Are there any other possibilities if my heat is not really hot?

It's kinda below the throttle body.
Follow the LOWER radiator hose - over the transmission & back towards the firewall. Reach the thermostat from above, but you probably have to remove the rubber air intake duct.

Its not to bad to get to. You should most def. remove the intake for easy access. Also note there is a bolt that is very hard to see (#29). I didn't see it and ended up causing a major headache for myself.
Anyways, make sure to ONLY use a Honda thermostat and that the opening circle thing is at the top when you install the thermo.
