Default Heating and Cooling My 02' EX

Man my 02' EX with the V6 Vtec has an amazing air conditioning and heating but thats not the problem. When I turn off the fan(I have the digital climate control) the thing still pushes out a little air. If you set the temp all the way up the little breeze gets very hot. Turn it to cold it gets cold....with the fan off.....is this normal. Dont get me wrong i love being able to get comfy and turn that thing off and have the temp stay constant inside but it seems a bit weird. Anyone else have this little gremlin in their car. Please reply

Turning off the fan doesn't do anything to shut off the passageways for air flow. Wind will push air through, especially if you're driving.

I remember reading somewhere that all cars allow small amount of fresh air flow regardless of recirculate position to avoid stale or contaminated air in car.

good luck

Turn on the recirculation option and this should solve your problem.

Recirc will hold moisture in the car & that's not good for de-fogging.

Remind me again why you need to actually close the ventilation?

Thanks, I just wanted to know if this is common. This car just seems to do this worse than any other car. Also i realized that if i have the windows down or the moon roof open its really comes out of the vents alot worse. Thanks for the comments
