Hey there everyone,
I am looking for a car to tow behind my MH (motorhome). Now this is not one of those big fancy MH's but a "Classic" 1973 Winnebago 22 foot long class A that I have brought back to life, another hobby.

Anyway I am looking at a 1991 Accord LX wagon, 5 speed, in OK condition. Around a $1000 car.

1. So the questions are what does it say in the manual about towing this car? There is not a manual in this car.

2. Has anyone used or made a tow bar to tow one of these? I would like to tow with all 4 wheels on the ground.

I have been reading about how to repair this car and before I buy one would like to hear about towing it. Thanks for all the info in advance and if this should be posted somewhere else, just let me know since I have not been able to find this info here so far.

 

My 94 Accord Shop Manual (not wagon) says not to tow w/ wheels on ground, except in any emergency. Same for both auto and manual.

You could get a front wheel caddy to support w/ front wheels off the ground.
