1. Did you disconnect wires etc. on both sides of the dash or only one side? If only one side, which side?

2. Was anything in the engine compartment disconnected?

3. What do you mean by "trigger wire"?

4. Have you checked all connections at the ECM and under-dash fuse box? Are ground bolts reconnected?

5. Does the Check Engine Light come on for a few seconds then go off?

6. Is there power at the under-dash fuse box?

7. Are there any trouble codes?

8. Does the car have an aftermarket security system?

9. Do you have a multimeter to perform testing?

3. Trigger wire the the wire that goes to the starter when your key is in the start mode when your trying to start the car.

4. I went through all the fuse and there ok.

5. Check engine light doesn't come on at all

6. Yes there is power under the dash box

7. I dont have a obd 1 to check the codes with

Check the voltage on the "trigger" wire to the starter solenoid. Low voltage to the starter can cause "rapid clicks".

Well starter spins now. it was a bad ground cable but its engaging just not catching the flywheel like I said I drove it home last week so I know the engine isnt seized.

Could still be an issue with the cables - check the positive one if you didn't already.

If the starter is spinning but not spinning the engine you might want to pull the starter and have is tested. You might be able to clean and re-lube the starter "bendix" if it is sticking.

EDIT: this still could be an issue with low voltage......so if you are going to get it tested, you might as well pull the battery and have it tested at the same time.
