Default Help troubleshooting gear shift label light. 2012 Accord

Suddenly, the gear shift panel light of my 2012 Accord went off. Just to start with the simpler approach, I looked at the fuse boxes and didn't find any fuse for that light, which makes sense. Then, I opened the center console cover and was able to reach the light bulb. The bulb has continuity, and there was no voltage in the socket with the engine on. I tried another light bulb just to confirm the previous result, and the light was off too. I inspected the cables and they look in good condition. I don't know if this light is triggered by the computer chip or any other device. Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks, Roreru

Any recent work done on your car?

Working off an older shop manual, so what are the 2 wire colors going to that bulb?

When testing for voltage, what did you connect your black volt meter to for ground?

If you're referring to the light at the shifter, that light supposed to turn on only when the headlights are also on. Passenger side under-dash Fuse No. 6 protects and provides power to the shifter bulb as well as other components such as the audio system, VSA off switch, ambient lights, seat heaters switch illumination, etc.

With the headlights in the On position, there should be power (+) on the gray wire of the 6-P white connector at the shifter. Ground (-) is via the red wire at the 6-P white connector, which flows from the gauge control module (instrument panel), coming from Ground G502 via a black wire to the gauge control module.
