Well the wife drove the car on Friday and it drove with out any problem-in fact she commented that it had plenty of power and no hesitation! She took it to her brother in laws house and he checked the plugs one of which looked bad so he replaced it along with the fuel filter-has never been changed in 160k miles. Car runs like a champ. I really think the 02 sensor was the main problem-may have taken a while for the car to adjust to the new one?
