Default High water trouble

My 1999 Honda Accord started having tranny problems after hitting a large puddle of water during a thunderstorm last week. shortly after hitting the water my D4 light began to flash and the car stopped shifting past 2nd gear. I thought it just needed to dry out but after 2 days the problem still exists. I took it to the shop and had the codes read (P0700, P1705). the mechanic cleared the codes and for a few minutes the car ran fine (shifting normally) but the codes came back and the problems started anew. my thoughts are leaning toward shift solenoid B. any thoughts will be appreciated.

Have you checked the fluid level, and for water contamination? If those codes are for the solenoid, you might want to clean the electrical connectors with some electric cleaner and maybe even take the solenoid off and clean it too if nothing else works. Good luck
