Default Honda Accord 07 A/C issue

Have a 2007 4 Door Honda V6 Sedan w/Navi. Noticed this morning what sounded like a whimpering noise coming from the 2 dash A/C vents. I cycled through several heat & cooling cycles. Air is blowing on the floor, passenger & driver side vents as well as defogger. Not getting any air through the 2 center dash vents.

A few weeks ago I did have to take out the center storage console under the navi to fix an issue where the door was not closing properly. Only today did I notice the whimpering noise coming from the dash vents. I doubt the two are related, but one never knows.

Any idea where to start?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you checked for any HVAC codes?

ah, the dreaded mode door actuator "whimper". agree with poorman, check codes and get back to us...sounds like something may be stuck. search the site for the procedure, or google it...fairly simple through the hvac control buttons.

Noises are always fun over the internet.....whimper, groan, ect....as Dr stated, these do seem to have issues with the mode motor making "strange" noises.

We'll all just have to sit back and wait for the OP to come back with more info.....stay tuned
