Default Honda accord 2000 start up issue

Recently had transmission changed. I had a tune up about a year ago. I tried starting car this morning nothing. Check fuses they were fine, spark plug had spark. I spray carb spray and it worked like a charm I was low on gas but it wasnt on E. I drove it to work it was fine turned it off started it again and it started up. So I don't think its a leak or anything. I guess my question is if it does need a tune up do you think it can last until this friday when I would be able to take it in to get a tune up if thats even necessary?

When you say "nothing",,,,,what does that mean. starter turns over but the car does not start or nothing from the starter?

If the starter is turning.....then get in a habit of turning the key to on/pos II and watch the cel. Once the cel goes off, try to start the car.

If not, have the system tested, battery, cables. starter, ect.....

So it sounds like the starter was spinning, I think.

Get in the habit of turning the car to ON/Pos II and watch the lights on the dash...mainly the CEL

spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor, oil change, air filter, egr port cleaning, transmission fluid/filter drain and refill, thermostat replacement, radiator flush, fuel treatment, pcv valve.

that would be the A+ tune up

recommended

-fuel filter
-plugs
-plug wires
-cap and rotor
-oil change
-fuel treatment
-air filter

here is the write up on egr port cleaning
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8N-SE047VY&feature=fvsr

may be a tad bit different for the 98-02 accords.
