Default Honda Accord Engine Oil running low often

Hi
New to this forumn, hope to get some helpful tips.

I have honda accord Vtec saloon 4 door, 1999 2.0 LTR, driving it since Feb2008, had gone thorugh MOT and service oct-2008. I am doing 1500 miles every month on this car.

Here is my problem rather concern.
Last month I checked my engine oil level, and it was below low level, I was surprized, I went to Halfords and topped it up up to full, I by chance checked it again today it was again the same level below low.

Not sure what is going on, and what to do? Any tips or guidance

Many Thanks

Welcome new member (guessing you're from UK??)

The oil has to be going somewhere...
No puddles on the garage floor?
Blue smoke?
Oily crud in the anti-freeze?

When you check your oil level be sure to let the car sit for at least 30 minutes or so
to let all the oil drain back to the pan. My Accord seems to use about 1 half quart
every month, but it does have 135k miles on it. No smoke or leaks so thats normal.

Hi, Thanks for your replies.
Yes, I am from London UK.
My Accord has only 58k on it, so it I guess it is not that much in regards to mileage.
I checked oil level again after an hour, still the same..
There are no oil spot on ground, so I can say no leaking.
When I start car in the morning, normally I can see clouds of white smoke, but that only last for few minutes due to condensation in exaust due to cold weather. typical uk weather
Any other tips? I am not pro at all, so please be kind to me, thanks.
