Honda Newbie, with issues that need tissues, lol
#11
I actually had a little bit of Good Luck today for a change...
I decided to stop in my local pick and pull junkyard, which is literally 10 minutes away from my house. Paid my $1 entry fee to walk around and within 2 minutes found a 1991 Accord with the 2.2 engine and an automatic.
Scavenged the TCM, the EGR valve and the box that bolts to the firewall that has all the vacuum hoses coming out of it, one of which goes to the EGR valve...
Came home and swapped the stuff onto my car while the battery was unhooked, and NO MORE CEL, and NO MORE D4 light flashing or shifting issues!!
Spent a grand total of $64 and took care of both issues. A good day.
Thanks for the replies guys!
