hey guys,i'm new here so first wanted to say Hi.I did introduce myself in the "new member" section also.i'm new to these cars and have driven mustangs since 1997 and I still have one as my weekend toy but sold my vert and bought a 2000 honda accord EX coupe.I bought this car from a friend of mine with all oil change and trans service records along with a recipt for the timing belt replacement.the car is really clean for the mileage and super sound with no knocks or rough sounds anywhere but what I was wondering is how long can I expect it to keep chugging along as long as I to keep it up? it's got 265K on the odometer now but like I said you'd never know it by looking and hearing it run/drive. I just need some assurance that it'll go atleat a year or a little more,I don't drive but a mile to work each day o my work truck and then my around town commute for erands and such.I may drive to my mothers house a couple times a month which is about 200-250 miles round trip. thanks guys!

 

Should be fine...keep up with oil changes, timing belt replacements......MOST importantly on this generation Accord with an auto, the trans service should be done very often. If the book says 30K, IMHO cut that in half and only use Honda trans fluid.
