How much oil to top from Low to High

I checked the oil level is at the Low mark.
How much oil should I top it off with tomake it tothe High mark and not overfill?

for certian applications it is...........just not mine. Skunk2's Drag car ran the fastest ET for NA 4cyl with 15:1 compression.
