Default How smooth should 01 V6 AT shifts be?

I bought a used 01 ex-v6 with 50k miles a few weeks ago and after reading this forum and some others, I'm getting a bit paranoid about my transmission. I drove 4 accords and this one seemed to be the smoothest shifting, but you can definitely feel it going from 1-2 and also when it kicks down from 2-1. I would say that it is a pretty firm shift but the revs are acting normal and I don't lose speed. From 1 the revs will go up to about 3000 - 3500 if I accelerate hard and then drop a few hundred in 2. I guess it would be described as "assertive". I have a 90 accord with 100k miles on it and you definitely feel the shifts there, but I had thought Honda had smoothed out their transmissions by 98. The AT fluid looks and smells good, but I don't remember seeing a fluid change on the dealer service record. Start there?

Also, what models did the ashtray and lighter come in, or was it an option in all? I don't smoke but I do accumulate trash and unless I'm missing a bin or panel somewhere, it doesn't seem like there's any place for it.

Thanks.

you can change the fluid for yourself to feel better, but for a car - it's not gonna feel any different.

nothing is wrong with your car just drive and enjoy - stop worrying
