Default how to tell a 98 accord coupe is ULEV or not?

I'm buying an accord in a few days but I want to be sure it's not the ulev engine. I notice on the driverside rear quarter window i had the letters LEV etched in the glass. Is that an indication that its the ulev model? I hope not. How can I be sure? Thanks in advance.

I think the valve cover have ULEV on it.

You should call a dealership and have them verify by the VIN, because that would be more reliable.

The normal F23A1 engine is LEV, not ULEV.

Also you can look on the engine's serial # stamping.

First line is the engine type like F23A1.
F23A1 = VTEC
F23A4 = ULEV VTEC
F23A5 = non-VTEC (Accord DX)
